The Clockwork Building
The Clockwork Building is a high quality CAT A refurbishment project that sought to expose structural elements of the Seifert designed building, with all new services infrastructure designed to offer future flexibility and floor occupancy in excess of BCO standards. The works created additional value from the creation of terraces and relocation of mechanical plant.

Members of The Radcliffes team oversaw the project from acquisition through to completion in just under 12 months, acting as Project Manager for the works. Establishing a clear client brief and overseeing the professional team in the development of a detailed and clear set of Employers Requirements was an essential part of this scheme.
Our Impact
The strip out works were procured separately and in advance of the main contract to make significant programme gains and cost savings. The intensive management of third party stake holders was key to the smooth running of the construction phase, this included the requirement for a new substation.
